This striking goby features a greenish-yellow head adorned with blue and orange markings, contrasting beautifully with its yellow body and distinctive brown bands. A natural bottom-dweller, it thrives in aquariums with loose coral rubble substrate where it can forage for tiny crustaceans and filamentous algae—its primary food sources.

Provide a minimum 30-gallon tank with a secure, tight-fitting lid, as these fish are known jumpers. While generally peaceful with other species, they're territorial and will only coexist with their own kind if paired. Moderately hardy and well-suited for reef environments, the Sleeper Banded Goby makes an excellent addition for intermediate aquarists seeking an active, colorful bottom-feeder.
