Live Arrival Guarantee
With each order comes our Live Arrival Guarantee, each specimen is carefully inspected and will only be shipped if it meets our quality standards. Our packaging techniques have a very high success rate with shipping our livestock. We will issue store credit for any DOA loss given the following criteria is met:
Receive shipment on the first delivery attempt, and notify us via email within 4 hours of receipt including a clear photo of any issue for verification.
Packages shipped to a FedEx hold facility must be picked up within the first three hours of opening.
A clear photo of the dead specimen must be included in your email. In some circumstances we may ask that the coral be shipped back to us. In the event that a coral arrives stressed or damaged, we ask that you allow 1-2 weeks for the coral to be evaluated for DOA credit. Many corals bounce back and begin to quickly recover from shipping stress.
DOA credits will be applied in the form of a merchandise credit towards another order. This credit will be valid for 6 months from the date of issuance. There is no refund on shipping unless the carrier failed to deliver the package on time and has issued Aquatic Cove a credit.
Delays due to weather, mechanical failures, etc. which result in loss will not be covered under our Live Arrival Guarantee.
If a package is rejected for any reason, the customer will be responsible for the full cost of the invoice.
We are not responsible for errors in acclimation, general care (over or under lighting, water flow, water chemistry, temperature, or inter species coral aggression). If you are unsure about something, please ask. We are happy to help!
Appearance of corals (color, polyp size, etc) will vary from tank to tank due to different lighting, flow and water conditions. We try to provide an accurate representation of the coral in the photos and description, however, we are not responsible for differences in color, shape or size due to various tank conditions.
