Description:
Paracanthurus tangs, most famously the Blue Hippo Tang, are a favorite among aquarists for their vivid coloration and calm demeanor. Despite their popularity, they are prone to marine Ich and require pristine water quality and a stress-free environment. These tangs are best kept in larger, established reef tanks with ample swimming room and rockwork for hiding. Feed a balanced herbivorous diet to maintain health and coloration.
