Description:
Thalassoma wrasses are bold, fast-swimming wrasses known for their striking coloration and dominant personalities. They are active predators that may nip at ornamental shrimp, crabs, or snails, and may become aggressive toward more peaceful tankmates. These wrasses require large, open tanks with secure lids and ample rockwork for shelter. Best kept with other semi-aggressive to aggressive fish. Not suitable for peaceful reef setups with delicate inverts.
